"account": "US President Donald Trump has appointed a team of top officials to oversee the administration's response to artificial intelligence. The new White House task force, dubbed the Super Intelligence Force or SI, will be led by Jay Clayton, Andrew Ferguson, Emil Michael, and Scott Kupor. Trump announced the formation of the SI via a Truth Social post, emphasizing that the government will support and monitor the development of AI rather than imposing strict regulations. Despite calls from AI researchers and tech leaders for increased oversight, Trump opposes any legislation that would codify AI safety measures into law. The administration has been under pressure to address concerns about the potential existential threats posed by AI, with prominent figures such as Dario Amodei, Sam Altman, and Elon Musk advocating for more cautious development. Trump hosted a White House lunch with several tech executives in September, where the group agreed on self-regulation through voluntary commitments, though the agreement lacks formal enforcement.",
