"account": "Nigerian political figure Buba Galadima has stated that former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai is currently experiencing the repercussions of his past actions while in office. During an interview on Symfoni TV, Galadima expressed his belief that El-Rufai is \"paying for what he has done to other people.\" The former governor's detention has raised questions about whether the situation is politically motivated, to which Galadima responded, \"But that does not mean that the issue that led to his detention is politically motivated.\"\n\nGaladima also alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, in its desperate attempt to retain power, may go to extreme lengths to regain control. He suggested that party members are aware of the consequences they may face if they lose power, and thus, the party could resort to any means necessary to regain control. \"The desperation with which the APC is going, they can do anything under the sun to come back to power, because they know what it entails if they lose power; what they have done to people will visit them.\"",
