Smith, while playing for the Ohio State Buckeyes, broke the record for career touchdown receptions in the team's history. James, who is now with the Philadelphia 76ers, shared his prediction in all capital letters on X during the Ohio State-Buckeyes game on October 3rd. The Buckeyes' wide receiver had already amassed 10 receptions, 188 yards, and two touchdowns before the fourth quarter commenced. Smith ultimately broke the record by surpassing the previous mark of 205 catches held by Emeka Egbuka. James' support for Smith extended beyond the game, as the NFL star indicated that earning the Biletnikoff Award and the Heisman Trophy were among his remaining goals.",
