"account": "The All Progressives Congress (APC) has criticized the African Democratic Congress vice-presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, over his claim that he could not afford medication for his late mother. In a statement, the APC's National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, mocked Amaechi, describing him as dependent on public office. The party cited Amaechi's decades-long tenure as a public official, stating that he had been a beneficiary of public resources but became \"destitute\" just three years after leaving office. The statement further accused Amaechi of seeking the 2027 vice-presidential ticket to continue his reliance on public funds, insisting that \"the presidency is not a soup kitchen\" for the former governor. The APC prayed for Amaechi's mother, Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi, and her son, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, hoping that the latter would find employment that could support his family. The party also expressed its hope that voters would determine the political power in 2027.",
