"account": "Okinawa police have arrested a 20-year-old U.S. Marine, who is accused of committing the robbery and murder of a 39-year-old local woman in Naha, the capital city of Okinawa. The incident occurred early Saturday morning at a hotel in Naha, where the suspect allegedly took the victim's wallet and backpack. According to Kyodo News, security camera footage shows the Marine entering the hotel with the victim and leaving alone. The suspect was arrested after he was spotted walking alone in Naha's entertainment district late Saturday.\n\nOkinawa Governor Genta Koja expressed his outrage over the case, stating that it deals a major blow to the local population that has already been forced to live next to U.S. bases. He also criticized the U.S. military's lack of discipline and troop education. Okinawa has a large U.S. military presence, with about 50,000 troops stationed on the island. The island's strategic importance to the Japan-U.S. military alliance has been a contentious issue, with many Okinawans complaining about noise, pollution, and crime related to the bases. The latest case comes as the government pushes for a stronger military presence on Okinawa.",
