"summary": "Australian police are investigating the links to Australia of a flydubai co-pilot who attacked the captain on a flight to Tel Aviv. The co-pilot, identified as Hammam al-Hammami, an Omani national, attacked the pilot with an emergency crash axe on flight 1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv.\n\nThe United Arab Emirates prosecutor general called the incident a terrorist attack. According to Investing.com, al-Hammami studied at a university in Melbourne, specifically RMIT university, though RMIT had no comment.\n\nThe Australian Federal Police confirmed it is investigating al-Hammami's links to Australia, with the Victorian Joint Counter Terrorism Team, comprising the AFP, Victoria Police and ASIO, leading the probe. An update will be provided at an appropriate time, an AFP spokesperson said.",
