"account": "Prominent leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have petitioned the National Working Committee (NWC) demanding the immediate suspension of former Benue State party Chairman, Austin Agada, over alleged anti-party activities. The 'Rainbow Coalition' is a support group of Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, aimed at garnering support across party lines for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027. The coalition's activities have put some APC governors in an uneasy position. The petition, signed by the group's National Organising Secretary, Sa’idu Muhammad, accuses Agada of endorsing candidates from rival parties, including Senator Abba Moro of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The group claims Agada, acting as a leader of a prominent faction of the APC loyal to SGF, Senator George Akume, endorsed Moro for the 2027 senatorial seat and publicly announced he would not campaign for the APC's gubernatorial candidate, Fr. Hyacinth Alia. The group calls for an investigation into Agada's activities, urging the NWC to determine if they constitute anti-party conduct and warrant disciplinary action.",
