"summary": "Paula Martínez Campillo has been crowned Queen of Pilar de la Horadada's 2026 patron saint festivities during a gala event that celebrated the town's traditions and its first fiesta queens. The ceremony took place on Saturday, 26 September, in Plaza de la Iglesia, where Paula was selected by a three-member judging panel and received her crown and sash from outgoing queen Laura Vera Albaladejo. Her court comprises five attendants, and she was accompanied by Fátima Madrid Campillo, who was named Queen of Absent Residents, representing Pilar de la Horadada's residents who live elsewhere. The gala also honored the town's first queens, María Ángeles Martínez López and Pilar Sáez Hernández, who received commemorative sashes from Mayor José María Pérez Sánchez and fiestas councillor Susi Sánchez Martínez. The event, presented by Antonio Joaquín Fenoll and broadcast live by Vegafibra TV Horadada, featured music from Unión Musical Horadada and concluded with a tribute to Julio Iglesias. The mayor encouraged residents and visitors to enjoy the celebrations with respect, consideration, and community spirit.",
