"summary": "Flydubai flight 1073, carrying 182 people en route to Israel, made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia after a dramatic incident. According to a passenger, the co-pilot attacked the captain with a crash axe, causing the plane to plunge thousands of feet and lose part of its rudder. A group of passengers and flight crew quickly \"neutralized\" the attacker.\n\nThe flight had four American citizens who also hold Israeli nationality on board, according to US officials. Passengers eventually arrived safely in Israel on a replacement Flydubai flight. US President Donald Trump reportedly spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the incident, which was initially suspected to be a hijacking attempt.\n\nAuthorities in the United Arab Emirates are investigating the incident, including the possibility that the suspected attacker received assistance from a crew member, as per Arutz Sheva - Israel National News. The plane was successfully landed by on-duty crew members who rushed into the cockpit to stabilize it.",
