"summary": "Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has stated that there is no military solution to the country's conflict with the US, and that negotiations are the only way to end the war. He warned that if attacked, Iran's response would be stronger than before. Araghchi made these comments at a gathering of foreign ambassadors.\n\nAccording to New Straits Times, Araghchi mentioned that a campaign of heavy bombardment failed to bring a decisive close to the war launched by the US and Israel in late February. The conflict has been ongoing for seven months, with a truce in April halting 40 days of war, but sporadic hostilities continued.\n\nIran and the US have held indirect talks on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, with Tehran presenting seven conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has sought to control since the start of the war. The Strait of Hormuz remains closed, with Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf saying it will not reopen until the seven conditions are met.",
