Despite his impactful play, the Stormers suffered a close defeat on Friday night, marking their second match loss in the United Rugby Championship (URC) tour games. The team, however, managed to secure a bonus-point victory in their opening game over Connacht. Dayimani acknowledged the difficulty of the match, stating that his team needed to improve for their upcoming home game against the Sharks. He also highlighted Vernon Paulo's strong performance, stepping up after his teammate Andre-Hugo Venter was substituted due to concussion. Commenting on the team's prospects, Dayimani expressed confidence in his squad's potential, stating that they are working on building depth and unity within the team. With four straight home games, including one in the Champions Cup, the Stormers will need to secure victories to strengthen their position in the URC.",
