"account": "Shreyas Iyer, India's T20I captain, has grown into his role over recent months, guiding a young and ambitious Indian cricket team in preparation for defending the ICC Men's T20 World Cup title in two years. In an exclusive interview with JioStar's 'Follow the Blues: Sarpanch Shreyas', Iyer discussed his expectations for his players, his approach to batting, and his conversations with the rising star Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.\n\nIyer emphasized the importance of players being fearless and expressing their natural instincts on the field, stating that \"we want players to be more liberal, more expressive in terms of being fearless out there and not restrict their instincts.\" He further highlighted the need for mutual support and confidence among the team members during tough times.\n\nWhen discussing his own batting style, Iyer explained that he prefers to capitalize on field restrictions, especially in the powerplay. He likes to play aggressively and create opportunities for the batters who follow him. Iyer also shared insights into his decision-making process during an innings, noting that he observes the opposing team's tactics and capitalizes on any perceived weaknesses.\n\nRegarding his interaction with young Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Iyer revealed that he enjoys talking about the cricketer's lifestyle and personality outside of cricket. Iyer described Sooryavanshi as a very silent individual on the field, yet destructive when he steps up to bat. The captain believes that Sooryavanshi's time will come and that he is destined to dominate Indian cricket. Iyer added that while experimenting with playing combinations can be fun, it is crucial to focus on winning the series first, as constant experimentation can lead to insecurity and self-doubt among players.",
