"account": "Two miners were murdered on Friday night by suspected Fulani gunmen at a mining site in Kuru Jenta, Heipang District, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. The Berom Youth Moulders Association's National Publicity Secretary, Rwang Tengwong, confirmed the tragic incident to journalists on Saturday. Tengwong detailed the attack occurring around 11:30 pm while the victims and their colleagues were engaged in mining activities. He described the attack as unprovoked and deeply regrettable, expressing dismay that it occurred just a week after gunmen killed two more miners in Rakum village, Jos South LGA. Tengwong called for swift action from security agencies to identify and hold the perpetrators accountable. The BYM spokesman also warned residents, especially miners, against mining at night and stressed the importance of vigilance and compliance with government-imposed security measures. Tengwong lamented that the attack occurred during a curfew imposed on three local government areas, including Barkin Ladi, urging residents to respect the restricted hours and take necessary precautions due to the prevailing security situation.",
