"account": "Los Angeles Dodgers writer Doug McKain called the San Diego Padres cursed after Ty France's go-ahead home run was ruled an out in the ninth inning of Game 1 of the NLDS. France's hit hit the roof and was caught by Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio near the warning track. The Padres were denied a 4-3 lead in the ninth. While the Padres are currently one of the hottest teams in MLB, their recent loss may feel like a setback, leading to speculation of a franchise curse. The ruling is in line with MLB ground rules, which state that a batted ball striking the roof, roof truss, or roof cable over fair territory is considered in play. The Padres will look to even the series on Sunday after their heartbreaking loss.",
