"account": "Kiew. At 9:28 PM, a special blue-yellow train rumbled into motion in Polish Przemysl. The secretive journey's destination was Kiev, with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on board. Nine hours later, the convoy arrived at the Ukrainian capital's main railway station on Sunday morning. \"Ukraine needs our full support in the coming weeks,\" Merz said upon arrival. He vowed to confirm Ukraine's continued reliance on German assistance during his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. \"If Russia is not stopped, its war machine will sooner or later turn against us.\" This is the second time Merz has traveled to Ukraine since his inauguration. However, the security situation is significantly more tense this time. Only a handful of journalists, including a representative from the Handelsblatt, accompanied him. Russia intensified its attacks on Kiev with ballistic missiles and missile drones recently, threatening Moscow with atomic retaliation just a few days ago. The backdrop was a major military exercise by the Alliance near the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.",
