"account": "Kerala's Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has ordered a Vigilance probe into allegations of irregularities involving former Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in 2006, according to ANI. The investigation was prompted by allegations of external pressure and a potentially derailed original inquiry into the death of Malaysian civil engineer Lee See Been, who was linked to the case. The case stems from Been's suicide note referencing Kumar. The move follows protests in Delhi and Mumbai by opposition parties, student groups and youth organizations demanding Kumar's resignation over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls and claims of mass voter deletions. Around 700 were detained in Delhi, while thousands gathered in Mumbai's Shivaji Park despite police denying permission. The Election Commission has rejected claims of institutional dissent, stating the objections were part of routine administrative processes.",
