"account": "In the first game of the NLDS between the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays, Austin Wells had a costly play in the eighth inning. Rays ace Drew Rasmussen had just completed an 8th inning no-hitter, with his team leading 1-0. Wells broke up the no-hit bid with a hard-hit ball down the first-base line, potentially placing a runner in scoring position for the Yankees. However, Wells kept running and was thrown out at third base by a few feet while attempting to stretch the hit into a triple. The play was initially scored as a double, but it still managed to give the Yankees a hit, bringing them into the game. Despite this missed opportunity, the Rays secured a win with their no-hit bid intact. For Wells, the play ended his MLB triple streak, which had started on April 6, 2025. Additionally, Wells struggled at the plate throughout the season, posting a .186/.292/.332 batting average.",
