"account": "Rockford, Illinois (WTVO) — The Rockford IceHogs celebrated the start of their new season with an annual block party in downtown Rockford on Saturday. The event, which drew large crowds, featured free craft beer tasting, free coffee, kids activities, a T-shirt giveaway, local food trucks, live music by That 70s Band, and a live radio broadcast. The main attraction was the players themselves, as fans lined up along the red carpet to meet the team before their opening-night game against the Milwaukee Admirals at the BMO Center. Excitement was palpable, with fans expressing enthusiasm for what they hope will be a successful season for the IceHogs. One fan, Derrick Carter, was eager to be part of the festivities and anticipated a thrilling season. Season-ticket holder Scott Carnes echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of community support for the hometown team. Such events, he noted, foster excitement and unity among fans, making the regular season all the more enjoyable.",
