"account": "The United States has expelled two members of Iran's delegation from the UN General Assembly, the State Department announced on Saturday. The two individuals were reportedly ordered to leave the country following the assembly, according to the department. A third Iranian delegation member remained in the United States beyond the assembly's conclusion. US officials confirmed to AFP that Secretary of State Marco Rubio has taken a firm stance on the matter. Iranian officials had previously met with their US counterparts in New York prior to the UN General Assembly. President Donald Trump had previously rejected an offer from Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz but suggested that talks could resume in the coming days. Tehran has not announced any further direct talks with Washington.",
