"account": "According to reports, Patrick Kwaku Frimpong, the chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency in Bosome Freho of the Ashanti Region, has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service. The arrest comes following an alleged incident at the party's National Delegates Conference. A delegate from Frimpong's constituency reportedly faced issues with the electronic voting system, preventing them from casting their ballot. The constituency chairman, according to the source, allegedly obtained a ballot paper from the Electoral Commission, tore it, and refused to allow the delegate to participate in the election.\n\nThe Ashanti Regional Secretary of the NPP, Dr Francis Adomako, had reportedly written to the constituency to prohibit the delegate from taking part in the election. However, after the delegate encountered difficulties with the electoral system, the Electoral Commission issued a ballot paper to enable the individual to vote. The chairman's actions, according to the source, led to his arrest for questioning. The exact details surrounding the incident and whether any charges have been filed are yet to be disclosed.",
