"summary": "The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Bosome Freho Constituency Chairman, Patrick Kwaku Frimpong, has reportedly been arrested by the Ghana Police Service following an incident at the party’s National Delegates Conference. The arrest came after a delegate from the constituency faced difficulties with the electoral system and was unable to cast a ballot. The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the NPP had reportedly barred the delegate from voting in the election, but the Electoral Commission later issued a ballot paper to allow the delegate to vote. Frimpong allegedly took the ballot paper and tore it apart, leading to his arrest for questioning. The full details of the incident and the police's subsequent inquiry remain unclear.",
