"summary": "The Amazon Fire TV Cube now costs $200, a $60 increase from its previous price of $140. This change occurred quietly in August. According to XDA Developers, the price increase may be attributed to the global shortage of memory technology.\n\nIn comparison, the 2019 Nvidia Shield TV is still functional and offers more features than the Fire TV Cube. Tom's Hardware reported that Nvidia has increased the price of its Shield TV Pro to $299.99, citing rising component costs driven by AI as the reason. The standard Nvidia Shield TV has been discontinued.\n\nThe Fire TV lineup from Amazon includes various streaming devices, including the Fire TV Stick HD and Fire TV Stick 4K, which cater to different needs and budgets. However, Tom's Guide did not provide a direct comparison with the Fire TV Cube or Nvidia Shield TV.",
