"account": "Universal is reportedly seeking J.A. Bayona to direct the upcoming sequel to the Jurassic World franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The studio, seeking to avoid the creative missteps of earlier films, is considering Bayona, known for his work in The Impossible, A Monster Calls, and the successful Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The potential sequel, still unnamed, will see return appearances from actors Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey, contingent on their availability. While formal negotiations between Bayona and Universal have not begun, the director has emerged as a frontrunner after Gareth Edwards opted not to direct a sequel. With Edwards stepping aside, Universal may be looking to secure a director with experience in bringing dinosaurs to life, as Bayona was responsible for the second highest-grossing entry in the series. This move could be seen as a strategic decision to capitalize on a director who has proven success in the genre.",
"summary": "As Universal continues to steer its unwieldy Jurassic World franchise away from its more bewildering creative choices, the studio is reportedly loo for a capable director to keep things on track.",
