"summary": "The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have elevated quarterback Easton Stick from their practice squad to join the active roster for their upcoming game against the Green Bay Packers. This marks the first time Stick has been elevated from the practice squad, and he will serve as the backup to rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels, who is set to make his NFL debut in Mayfield's absence due to a dislocated right thumb. Mayfield is expected to be sidelined for at least three weeks. Stick, who signed with the Buccaneers' practice squad on August 31, joins linebacker Caden Fordham, who was also elevated from the practice squad. Fordham, a rookie free agent signed in May, was initially part of the 53-player roster but was waived on September 2 before signing back to the practice squad.",
