"account": "At least three people were injured following a stampede at the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Delegates Conference in Kumasi. The victims were transported to the Kumasi South Hospital for treatment, while others with minor injuries received care at makeshift medical stations set up at the event site. One individual reportedly suffered a broken bone when people tried to force their way through the throng of onlookers. This prompted police officers to intensify crowd control measures and avert further overcrowding around the injured. The large attendance also posed challenges for emergency responders, as Ghana National Ambulance Service personnel found it difficult to maneuver through the crowd to reach and extricate the injured. The incident took place during the NPP’s national executive elections.",
