"account": "Aaron Sorkin revisits Facebook for his upcoming film \"The Social Reckoning,\" a sequel to his hit \"The Social Network.\" Notably, Jesse Eisenberg, who previously played Mark Zuckerberg and received an Oscar nomination in 2011, opted not to reprise the role. Sorkin revealed that Sony Pictures made a significant offer to re-engage Eisenberg, but the actor's reluctance to return was not due to financial considerations. \"Money does not motivate Jesse,\" Sorkin remarked, adding that he found this stance \"infuriating.\" Sorkin also shared that he personally reached out to Eisenberg, presenting the script and passionately arguing for his return. Eisenberg reportedly acknowledged Sorkin's efforts, stating that Sorkin's persistence came closer to changing his mind than expected. In a previous Vanity Fair interview, Sorkin clarified that Eisenberg's decision was rooted in his desire to avoid being associated with Zuckerberg and his issues with the tech mogul. Jeremy Strong takes over the role of Zuckerberg in \"The Social Reckoning,\" set to release in theaters this Friday.",
