"summary": "Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has paid tribute to former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for their significant contributions to Ghana. At the NPP National Delegates Conference in Kumasi, Bawumia highlighted the transformative policies implemented by the two leaders, including the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), the School Feeding Programme, and Free Maternal Care under Kufuor, and the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy under Akufo-Addo. These initiatives, according to Bawumia, have expanded access to healthcare and education, laying a strong foundation for national development. He also praised the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition, emphasizing the importance of freedom, enterprise, and the rule of law in achieving prosperity. Bawumia expressed gratitude to the Ashanti Region, particularly Kumasi, for its unwavering support, and paid tribute to Danquah Smith Buttey, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, and Stephen Ayesu Ntim for their dedicated service to the party.",
