"account": "A youth-led mental health initiative called the 'Wall of Hope' was unveiled in Madras by the Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF) and its Department of Youth Mental Health. The campaign aims to address the growing mental health challenges faced by young people and reduce suicide rates.\n\nLaunched on October 10, 2025, the 'Wall of Hope' encourages individuals aged 10-25 to express their reasons for living through brief messages of hope. These messages are written on colorful post-it notes, which are then displayed as part of the initiative. The campaign encourages open dialogue and reflection on the purpose of life.\n\nThe 'Wall of Hope' is entirely youth-led, with peer leaders and trainer modules facilitating the project. Over 20,000 responses from six states have been collected, and 400 volunteers have been trained to conduct the activity. This voluntary and anonymous campaign aims to initiate conversations around mental health.\n\nProminent figures such as Madras High Court judge Justice N. Anand Venkatesh, SNEHA founder Lakshmi Vijayakumar, SCARF vice-chairperson R. Thara, and director Sridhar Vaitheswaran participated in the event's unveiling at the IIT-Madras Research Park in Taramani. For assistance with suicidal thoughts, individuals can contact the State's health helpline 104, Tele-MANAS 14416, or Sneha's suicide prevention helpline 044-24640050.",
