"account": "Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) for failing to deliver on numerous election pledges made before the 2024 general elections. Addressing delegates at the NPP's National Delegates Conference in Kumasi, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the NDC's initial promises, which they won power on, but have yet to fulfill, leaving voters disappointed. Among the unfulfilled promises, he emphasized the 24-hour economy initiative, which the NDC had assured job-seeking youth by offering one job with three shifts and three people. Dr. Bawumia urged the NPP to maintain its focus on rebuilding and strengthening itself as the party prepares for the upcoming general elections, urging party members to unite in this endeavor.",
