"account": "Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticised the Mahama administration for failing to deliver on its commitments to cocoa farmers. At the NPP’s National Delegates Conference, Dr. Bawumia alleged that the government’s promise to raise the producer price of cocoa to GH¢6,500 had not materialised, describing it as a \"scam.\" He also criticized the government for its unfulfilled promises to introduce automatic posting for teachers and nurses, improve their conditions of service, cancel teacher licensure examinations, and compensate victims of the collapse of Menzgold and other financial institutions. Dr. Bawumia further lambasted the government's Nkoko Nkitikiti programme for failing to meet expectations. He described these issues as part of the record of the NDC government's two years in power, urging Ghana to demand better under the NPP.",
