"account": "Ohio State's starting nickel back, Jay Timmons, is uncertain to play in the team's game against Iowa on October 3. Timmons was listed as questionable in recent days, and his status remained unresolved until the final availability report. The senior from Pittsburgh suffered an undisclosed injury during the third quarter of Ohio State's recent win over Illinois, forcing him to leave the game and not return. Known for his disruptive presence on defense, Timmons has recorded four pass breakups and a forced fumble in just four games so far this season. The Buckeyes' head coach, Ryan Day, indicated that cornerbacks Jermaine Mathews Jr. and Jordan Thomas could potentially replace Timmons if necessary. However, if Mathews moves inside in their nickel packages, Ohio State would need to find a replacement for Timmons at outside cornerback. On October 2, the Ohio State team ruled out right tackle Phillip Daniels, marking the third consecutive game that Daniels would miss. Daniels started as right tackle for the first two weeks of the season. Joey Kaufman, covering Ohio State football for The Columbus Dispatch, reported on the situation, emphasizing the uncertainty surrounding Timmons' availability for the upcoming game.",
