"summary": "Apple has removed the offline messaging application Bitchat from the India App Store following a demand from the country's IT ministry. The app's developer, Jack Dorsey, confirmed the removal via a post on X, citing the notice received from Apple's app review team. The removal is due to the app's content being deemed illegal in India, in compliance with the app review guidelines and Section 69(A) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, which allows for the removal of apps that could facilitate misuse by anti-national elements, terrorist organizations, organized criminal groups, and cybercriminals.",
