"account": "Jon Stewart made a surprise appearance as a \"sewer scavenger\" on \"Jimmy Kimmel Live!\" Friday night. Wearing a headlamp and face-covering, the comedian emerged from an onstage manhole to riff on the late-night host's monologue. Stewart, who recently returned for his third season as a rotating host on \"The Daily Show,\" brought a unique perspective to the show. Discussing a news story about urban scavengers exploring New York City's sewers, Stewart quipped, \"It's awesome down there. It's quiet. There's no Citi Bikes. As the people of Brooklyn know, the rents are slightly cheaper down there.\" He humorously added, \"The only downside is, down in the sewers, (Rudy) Giuliani is still mayor.\" Kimmel, who had been in Brooklyn for the week, had been discussing local outlets' coverage of masked suspects with headlamps and crowbars being caught on surveillance cameras exiting manholes. Stewart then proposed a Mets night out, only to draw groans from the audience. The segment featured guests like Paul McCartney, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and a musical performance by Goose. Other highlights from Kimmel's week-long run included appearances by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Pete Davidson, Howard Stern, John Oliver, and Seth Meyers.",
