"account": "An Israeli airstrike targeting a residential building in Gaza City early this morning resulted in at least five Palestinian casualties, including four women, according to health and civil defense officials in the area. The victims comprised two Christians, Maysa Abu Dawood and her daughter Mary. The building was completely destroyed by the strike, which also sparked a fire. Israel has been escalating its assaults on the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) over the past few weeks, alleging the group's alleged rearmament and violation of a ceasefire. The Gaza ceasefire, brokered by the United States last year, aims for the eventual rebuilding of the enclave, but progress toward implementing the agreement, which includes disarming Hamas and withdrawing occupation forces, has been minimal. On Sunday evening, armed settlers, backed by occupation soldiers, launched an attack on homes in Wadi Al-Hussain and the Jaber neighborhood east of Hebron. The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that the settlers hurled stones at homes, hurled threats and insults, and induced panic among children and women, while occupation forces fired live rounds at the area.",
