"summary": "The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India summoned the Pakistani Chargé d'Affaires on Saturday to protest against the facilitation of illegal cross-border infiltration from Pakistan. The MEA rejected Pakistan's allegations regarding an October 2 incident in the Ferozepur sector of Punjab along the International Border as \"baseless and motivated.\" According to the MEA, three individuals had entered Indian territory and continued moving towards the border fence despite repeated warnings from the Border Security Force (BSF) to return. The BSF engaged the infiltrators after assessing them as an imminent security threat. The MEA emphasized that this incident is part of a repeated pattern of cross-border movement by armed narcotics syndicates operating from Pakistan and urged Islamabad to investigate such infiltration and drug-smuggling activities, including the alleged involvement of Pakistani border forces. The MEA also urged Pakistan to respect the sanctity of the International Border, strictly observe relevant bilateral arrangements, mandate its forces to exercise effective control to prevent unauthorized movement from its side, and take definitive measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.",
