"account": "NPP flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has pointed out that Ghana's inflation rate has dropped, but the cost of living is still much higher than before. During the NPP's National Delegates Conference in Kumasi on Saturday, October 3, the presidential candidate emphasized that a decrease in inflation does not mean lower prices for goods and services. Dr Bawumia explained that Ghanaians are still paying considerably more for essential items compared to the past. He also pointed out that although the cedi has remained relatively stable, businesses continue to encounter substantial challenges. Despite the currency's stability, many businesses remain burdened with the expenses of operating and maintaining their operations, he stated as he assessed the economy during his address to the conference. The NPP is in the process of selecting new national executives at this gathering.",
