According to officials, surface vessels and aircraft are currently scouring the waters off the coast of Nantucket, Massachusetts. The Gulfstream G100 plane, operated by Canada-based Latitude Air Ambulance, disappeared around 1:30 am local time, as reported by the company's spokesman, Clarence Togeretz. The aircraft was transporting two pilots, two medical staff members, one patient, and a family member. Togeretz added that he had no further information regarding the rescue efforts.
