"account": "A roof-collapse at the Aquatics Complex during the State School Games sparked a heated confrontation at the Thrissur Corporation council meeting on Saturday. The incident led to a clash between ruling and Opposition councillors, with the Opposition accusing the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of inadequate response to the discussion on the accident. Allegations of violence emerged when BJP councillors claimed that Congress councillor K. Sumesh had attacked them without cause. The council hall erupted in chaos as members from both sides traded accusations and slogans. Opposition leader T.R. Hiran criticized the handling of the incident, accusing the Mayor and Corporation of being responsible due to the event occurring within the civic body’s jurisdiction. BJP parliamentary party leader Raghunath C. Menon and Opposition councillors also expressed dissatisfaction, while Education Standing Committee chairperson Mefi Delson refuted the blame. The Mayor called for the agenda to be read out, but the Opposition refused to ease their protest, demanding accountability for the accident. With the situation remaining volatile, the Mayor adjourned the council meeting.",
