"account": "Rotimi Amaechi, the presidential running mate for the African Democratic Congress, cautioned President Bola Tinubu against rigging the 2027 election. In an interview with Channels Television’s Politics Today, Amaechi expressed his concern that Nigeria might cease to exist if Tinubu were to engage in electoral malpractice. Despite his respect for Tinubu, Amaechi emphasized the dire need to address the country's woes. \"Tinubu will not rig this election because there may not be a Nigeria if he rigs this election,\" Amaechi warned. \"The people are tired, they are hungry. The President can help them by providing food.\" Amaechi highlighted the absence of funds from the subsidy removal and questioned where the money had gone. He assured that nobody detests Tinubu, as he personally \"loves Tinubu.\" The former Transportation Minister also addressed Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, accusing him of lying and lacking self-respect. Amaechi stated, \"I always told Bayo Onanuga that I was in secondary school when he started working with News Watch and he’s still there as Chief Press Secretary.\" He further explained that elders in his village often lose their composure in public, which could potentially influence younger individuals to follow suit. Amaechi concluded by asserting that he would not respond to Onanuga, referring to him as \"Dede,\" a term of respect equivalent to \"Elder.\" The statement underscores the growing unease among Nigerians and the warnings ringing out against election rigging.",
