"account": "The Indiana Fever are looking to improve their team for the 2027 season after suffering a second consecutive playoff elimination. With limited flexibility in free agency and trade talks, the Fever are considering trading Lexie Hull and two first-round picks for Minnesota Lynx sharpshooter Kayla McBride. Known as the best movement shooter in the WNBA and an elite screener, McBride would significantly improve Indiana's perimeter defense, which ranked last among playoff teams last season. However, the biggest hurdle to landing McBride is her $1.25 million salary for 2027, which would make the deal only feasible if Indiana re-signs All-Star Kelsey Mitchell to a max contract and McBride leaves Minnesota. If all parties agree to a trade, Indiana would gain a versatile player who could thrive alongside the Fever's star players, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston.",
