"account": "Nancy Shukri, the Malaysian minister of women, family and community development, highlighted the importance of senior citizens' physical and mental well-being during the senior citizens day celebration in Melaka. The Senior Citizens Bill, which the minister expects to present to the Cabinet soon, aims to provide comprehensive protection and support for senior citizens. Nancy emphasized that the government has existing policies and frameworks for seniors, and the bill is a follow-up measure to further strengthen their protection and ensure a better quality of life. The bill focuses on safeguarding senior citizens across all aspects of life, reflecting the government's commitment to strengthening support, protection, and care systems. Nancy stressed that senior citizens should be valued and encouraged to serve as role models for the younger generation, aligning with efforts to strengthen family values. Regarding independent speakers, Nancy's ministry is ready to collaborate with relevant parties to screen appointed speakers to ensure they have the necessary qualifications and expertise. While the ministry cannot assume the responsibility for screenings, they can remind organizers to ensure high-calibre speakers. Separately, Perlis police reported that a motivational speaker has been placed under arrest on an allegation of sexual harassment involving a child.",
