"summary": "Two Iranian men, 36-year-old Salam Ahmadyan and 34-year-old Rahman Salehi, have been charged with terror offenses in connection with an alleged plot to attack the Jewish community in Manchester on Yom Kippur, according to the Egypt Independent. The suspects were arrested on September 20, a year after a deadly synagogue attack in Manchester. They were charged with \"engaging in conduct in preparation for terrorist acts.\" Authorities also suspect a third individual, possibly in Iran, is involved in the alleged plot. The Metropolitan police, in a joint Counter Terror Policing investigation, stated that the charges are serious and the disruption of the plot is a positive outcome, but there is no ongoing threat to the public. This comes just a day after another Iranian national with dual British citizenship was arrested on suspicion of terror offenses linked to an alleged plot targeting a UK airbase used by the US military.",
