"account": "Kasugai, Japan — In a stellar performance at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Saturday, South Korean golfer Kim Joo-hyung claimed the men's golf gold medal, contributing to his nation's silver finish in the team event. Kim, a 24-year-old PGA Tour winner, sank a final round six-under 64 at Kasugai Country Club East Course in Kasugai, just north-east of Nagoya, to secure his victory with an impressive 18-under 262 total. This triumph not only earned Kim a coveted spot in the highly-regarded Asian Games but also exempted him from mandatory military service, a privilege granted to athletes who claim gold medals and have not yet completed their service. Among the growing ranks of elite athletes who have taken advantage of this arrangement are fellow PGA Tour veterans Kim Si-woo and Im Sung-jae, who jointly secured the team gold medal three years ago. The team standings, determined by the best scores from three players per country for each round, saw South Korea clinch the second position behind China, with a combined score of 26-under.",
