"account": "The owner of Siam Amazing Park, formerly Siam Park City, may put the business up for sale for 10 billion baht after suffering extensive damage from Bangkok's worst flooding in history, according to Dr. Chaiwat Luang-ammornlert, the chairman and founder. Nearly all of the park's rides and attractions were submerged and damaged by floodwaters, with the estimated damage totaling nearly 500 million baht. Dr. Chaiwat expressed difficulty in sleeping due to the extensive damage to the park he had built over many years. He has been unable to cover the repair costs on his own and is seeking bank financing and government assistance. If those options fail, he may decide to sell the business, including rides and employees, for 10 billion baht. Park staff have been working around the clock to pump water from the site, which has now dried out. Dr. Chaiwat continues to visit the park to monitor recovery efforts. Siam Amazing Park, a major amusement and water park in Bangkok, covers about 300 rai and is known for its large artificial sea, recognized by Guinness World Records. The park has been open since November 1980 and now features a water park, amusement rides, and other attractions. The complex hopes to reopen after repairs and restoration, estimated to take at least three to six months.",
