"account": "Riara University and Redeemed Gospel Church have both issued statements condemning a viral bullying video that has been circulating on social media. The video, which shows several female students threatening and assaulting Jahenda, a female student, has sparked outrage among Kenyans, who have called for the girls' expulsion and condemned the incident.\n\nIn the video, Jahenda is seen surrounded by a group of girls in a club restroom, recording the harassment while laughing. One of the girls, identified as Vania, can be seen pushing Jahenda around, grabbing her by the throat, and using threatening language. Riara University stated that the behavior depicted in the video does not represent the values of the university and that they unequivocally condemn violence, intimidation, bullying, harassment, or misconduct in any form. The university is conducting an investigation into the incident and has initiated an internal review of the matter.\n\nSimilarly, Redeemed Gospel Church expressed their sadness upon learning that one of the individuals in the video was a member of their congregation. While the church emphasized that an individual's actions do not represent the position of the church, they also acknowledged the seriousness of the incident and apologized to Jahenda for the behavior. They prayed for healing for all those affected and called for wisdom, accountability, and grace as they navigated the matter.\n\nTwo of the bullies in the video have already apologized, with one of them, Vanayah, expressing genuine disappointment in herself and vowing to change. However, Kenyans continue to call for justice under the hashtag #JusticeforJahenda.",
