"account": "Kiambu County police have intercepted a tanker carrying 10,000 liters of suspected industrial ethanol along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway. The consignment was headed for an illicit alcohol production facility in Nairobi. During the operation, three individuals inside the tanker were arrested by officers from Lari Sub-County Police Headquarters. Kiambu County Commissioner George Matundura confirmed the seizure, stating that the suspects are anticipated to aid investigators in determining the origin and destination of the shipment. Samples of the substance have been sent to the Government Chemist for examination to ascertain if it is indeed industrial ethanol. Matundura estimates that if the consignment had been utilized for manufacturing second-generation alcoholic beverages, it could have generated a street value of approximately Ksh28 million. Kiambu County Police Commander Kennedy Samani has ordered the deployment of additional police roadblocks on major roads entering the county to inspect vehicles and prevent the transportation of illicit materials.",
