"account": "In Lahore, the rooftop market has experienced a surge in demand following the Punjab government's announcement of next year's Basant festival dates. Advance bookings in certain parts of the city have reportedly reached hundreds of thousands of rupees, as residents prepare to celebrate the festival from rooftops. The announcement has drawn significant attention to the Walled City, where residents have begun searching for rooftops suitable for the festivities. Some individuals have reportedly secured rooftops at considerable costs, while others have visited potential locations with their families to assess options.\n\nIn response to the increased demand, rooftop owners have started repairing damaged structures to accommodate the anticipated influx of customers. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has officially approved a 10-day Basant festival in Lahore, which will take place from January 29 to February 7, 2027. The schedule includes a one-day break on February 5 to observe Kashmir Day. This revised schedule replaces the previously planned three-day celebration, which was set for March 12 to 14, 2027.\n\nMaryam Nawaz Sharif has directed relevant authorities to commence preparations well ahead of the festival, emphasizing the need to implement stronger public safety and convenience measures to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. She has also urged citizens to celebrate responsibly, adhering to safety regulations throughout the extended festivities.",
