"account": "On February 2022, Hamam al-Hammami, the Omani co-pilot accused of attacking Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar on a Flydubai flight to Tel Aviv, left behind a trail of extremist views on social media. Analysis of nearly 3,000 deleted tweets from 2021 and 2022 revealed he was a deeply religious and misogynistic individual. He was removed from his previous role at Oman’s national airline due to concerns about his extremist views. A LinkedIn profile linked to Al-Hammami showed he had worked for Oman Air for seven years, but not for Flydubai. The UAE has launched an investigation into whether the attack was linked to terrorist activity. Two LinkedIn posts from Wednesday, published nine hours after the incident, included a video of Boeing 737 Max cockpit clips from Israeli airlines and a poem about rejecting humiliation and not fearing death. Israeli officials believe Al-Hammami underwent Islamist radical indoctrination, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated he was likely part of the crew through Islamist radical indoctrination. Israeli agencies, including Shin Bet and Mossad, are investigating how an Omani citizen, from a country that does not recognize Israel, managed to join the crew.",
