"account": "The Congress party recently resolved its internal power struggle within Punjab by appointing Pargat Singh as the new president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC). Mr. Singh, a former minister and acclaimed hockey player, was chosen due to his clean image, which could potentially bridge the divide between rival factions. Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the previous PPCC president, had resigned following a series of conflicts with other leaders, including Charanjit Singh Channi, who took charge of the election campaign committee. Raja Warring's removal from his post aimed to pacify discontented leaders. The Congress party, likely to challenge the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections, hopes that Singh's appointment will help stabilize the party and strengthen its position against AAP.",
