"summary": "In the men's cricket gold medal match at the 2026 Asian Games, India captain Shreyas Iyer and Pakistan skipper Sahibzada Farhan did not shake hands during the toss. This decision follows a pattern seen in recent India-Pakistan cricket encounters, where handshakes have been absent. India won the toss and opted to bat first, setting the stage for a highly anticipated final at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, Japan. The Asian Games final marks the first meeting between India and Pakistan in men's cricket at the continental event, with India looking to defend the title they won at the 2023 Asian Games.",
